ALEEM NASSER - Coaching Faculty
What would you do if you were able to obtain a 4.0 grade point average each semester at your respective university or college? How do you think your life would change if top companies competed for you, rather than you having to pursue them for interviews? More importantly, what would you think of yourself if you were able to tap into the intellectual genius that lies inside of you?
For many students today these considerations are becoming a reality. After spending about one month with Aleem Nasser, B.Comm., B.A., M.B.A., the president and founder of Academic Consultanting, students are able to attain all the critical tools necessary to be able to excel in any field of study. They are discovering how to rapidly increase their retention, eliminate test anxiety, pay attention to only essential information that they will be tested on, use time to inspire more fun in their lives and to write exams like Einstein would if he was alive today!
In his third year of university, Aleem was placed on academic probation for having a 1.98/4.0 grade point average. As a result, he was on the verge of being asked to leave school after spending thousands of dollars on his education. Rather than becoming despondent about this turn of events, Aleem saw this as an invaluable opportunity to develop himself and to uncover what it takes to become an exceptional student, who would stand out from the crowd. Thus he began his pursuit to discover how one is able to grow into an extraordinary learner, regardless of what area of study he/she is focussed on. The following semester, Aleem was able to apply what he had discovered, resulting in him being removed from academic probation. Furthermore, he went on to obtain two undergraduate degrees, was selected for a bursary due to exemplary academic performance and obtained a 4.0 GPA at McGill University.
Upon completion of his undergraduate degrees, Aleem also graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree (M.B.A.) with a 90% average from Carleton University. As a result, numerous firms approached him in the hopes of employing him. In the summer of 2001, Aleem signed a contract with a prestigious global management consulting firm and was offered a $10,000 signing bonus.
By sharing his techniques and methods for consistently obtaining the best grades, Aleem is now coaching motivated students how to accomplish the same (or better) results. In a matter of 4-6 coaching sessions, clients are seeing staggering results in their marks and developing an entire new level of self confidence in themselves. Aleem uses a combination of coaching methodologies, unique learning concepts and effective mentorship to empower students in all disciplines to achieve outstanding academic results. These are a few real life examples of what past students have experienced:
- As a result of failing her board exams a number of times due to severe test anxiety, a medical student was fearful that she might have to give up her dream of becoming a doctor. After a few coaching sessions, Aleem was able to help her remove this anxiety and replace it with self-confidence and self-belief. He was also able to show her more effective ways to write her exam with a greater chance of success. She now practices dermatology in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- An optometry student fell behind the rest of her class after catching pneumonia. Aleem was able to show her how to create an effective study schedule, manage her stress level, and retain information more efficiently. When she graduated, she was ranked 19 out of a class of 113 students.
- After numerous attempts, a "learning disabled" student was told by her instructors that she did not have the intellectual capacity for admission into university. After one month, she was taught how to utilize more effective learning techniques, recall information more rapidly and write exams more skilfully. On her final exams, she received three A's and proved her instructors wrong. She is now completing her Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Toronto.
- An individual was not accepted for an M.B.A. program because he was unable to obtain the minimum score for admittance. Aleem showed him how to use innovative methods to write The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) and he was able to increase his exam score by an additional 100 points. He completed his M.B.A. successfully and now helps manage a very large car dealership.
- A young professional was faced with losing her job since she was not able to pass her certification exam. By suggesting new ways to prepare for this exam, which allowed her to concentrate only on critical information, she completed her certification exam successfully. She is now enjoying her career as an insurance professional.
When an individual is able to consistently obtain the best grades at school, he or she will also be able to reduce the fees they currently pay for their education because learning becomes easier and the student is able to prioritize where to focus his/her time and attention. As a result there is no need to spend money on hiring tutors. Also, the chances of repeating courses become minimal as the student is usually able to undertake the class successfully the first time. Another satisfying reward is receiving academic scholarships due to excellent performance at school. Furthermore, they have a much higher chance of being offered significant signing bonuses when they eventually accept employment.
